Beautiful natural (unbleached/undyed) organic cotton velours by Bo Weevil in a wonderful warm cream shade, GOTS certified.
Our natural fabrics are unbleached and undyed. As a result, you often still see some seeds of the cotton plant in the fabric. The fabric has a nice and lively appearance and a natural colour. An additional advantage: natural fabrics are generally well suited for people with a (skin) allergy.
Velours is a knitted fabric, which has loops on the front of the fabric that have been shaved off. The shaved loops result in a nice soft fabric with a beautiful vibrant effect. Because of the knitted structure, velours is slightly elastic broadwise. Note: this fabric has nap (thread direction of the pile), so the pattern pieces must be laid on the fabric in the same direction.
Velours is suitable for sportive jackets, cardigans, T-shirts, tops, skirts, dresses, baby wear, scarfs. Also great for pajamas and soft toys.
