Description
It's always a party with this cheerful flag garland! It is made from organic cotton remnants. These are cutting remnants that remained after making bed linen and home textiles in our sewing studio. These narrow strips of fabric are not thrown away, but kept for future use. This saves waste and new fabric, an ideal combination.
The flag garland has 11 flags (height 20 cm) made of organic cotton. The flags are spread over a length of about 2.6 meters. The total length of the line is about 4 meters. Only scraps of fabric were used to make the flags. The flag lines may therefore differ slightly from the photo.
The red flag garland has 9 flags spread over a length of approximately 2.2 meters. The total length is approx. 3.75 meters.
The flags were made during a project, in collaboration with an intern with a distance from society. The aim of the project was to learn new skills and thereby become more resilient in life. The trainee started out very hesitant, but gradually gained confidence, and at the end of the project even had plans to make stuffed animals herself.
