The roses in full bloom are inspired by the drawing Gallic Rose by Pieter Withoos. The print gets a modern twist as this rose with branches and leaves is placed on a uni-coloured background. This feeling is enhanced by a silhouette print of the branches and leaves in two-colour on the other side. The organic cotton feels wonderfully soft and will last for years. A sustainable choice!
This bedding is made of 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton percale, a luxurious fabric with a crispy feel. It feels soft, is breathable and therefore a favorite fabric for bed all year round. Percale is a very tightly woven fabric (in a plain weave), and may only be named percale if there is a (minimum of) 200 threads per square inch. This density of the fabric is indicated by TC (Thread Count). The higher the TC, the thinner the yarn and the suppler the fabric. The fabric is smooth, firm and with high breathability, a hotel quality. The international GOTS certificate not only guarantees the use of organically grown cotton, but also that production takes place in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner. This way, the people who made this cotton are treated fairly and receive a living wage.
